A wide array of variables that can be used to explain the disease progression of patients with melanoma skin cancer were analyzed such as age, gender, ethnicity, social factors, treatments, many disease characteristics and pathology, survival, as well as other factors. Factors were pinpointed that independently affected a patient’s clinical outcomes, after adjusting for all other variables. Incorporating these significant factors into a Cox regression formula developed by our team, we were able to evaluate over 200,000 possible conditions to provide survival predictions with Concordance Correlation Coefficient (CCC) comparing observed to predicted results was 97.6%. Our algorithm outperformed the American Joint Committee on Cancer’s (AJCC) model that predicted at an 87.5% rate. The predictive engine was built to run within our proprietary cloud computing environment and the user-facing app was built to run on Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android. It has been used by medical professionals to help determine treatment plans for melanoma patients worldwide.

We acquired more than 140,000 past races and nearly 1,000,000 horses competing with more than 25,000,000 past performance records and 14,000,000 workouts. We performed the same types of analyses performed in our healthcare studies, which included exploring 100’s of variables related to past performances and workouts, factors associated with competition levels, track conditions, ancestry, trainers, jockeys, and other factors. Those variables we found to be independently significant, as well as significant after adjusting for other factors, were then utilized within our proprietary AI algorithms and simulations to produce the probabilities of each horse’s finish including the combination of finishes (i.e. horse #1 finishes in the top three, or three horses finishing in the top three in any order, etc.). The results include:

• Beating the morning line expert picks while also identifying 4X as many longshot winners (10/1 or greater).
• Beating published results by top competitors including the top-rated pick sheet, Guaranteed Tip Sheets and Churchill Downs expert picks.
• Producing a 41% return on investment for a focus group of beginners to expert handicappers.
